Tamworth FC, having taken up the option with Jonathan Hedge for another season, have now allowed the England C keeper to sign for fellow Conference side Cambridge United for an undisclosed transfer fee. The fee will rise depending on the success that Cambridge United have whilst Jonathan is on their books and there is also a sell on clause written into the deal. Lambs Manager Marcus Law earlier today said that he sends his best wishes to Jonathan and that he continues to progress he also wishes him well with England C in Russia in just over a couple of week's time. Marcus Law's side are in action just one more time before the Lambs season ends when Cambridge United visit on Saturday (April 28). Kick off time accross the league is 1.00pm (not 3pm) as one game is being shown live on Premier Sports so don't be late!!
After the game there will be a season send off in the clubhouse organised by the Supporters Club with music and BBQ, weather permitting. We look forward to seeing you there.

On Sunday the FA Women's Cup semi-final match between Birmingham City and Bristol Academy will be played at The Lamb.
Kick off is 2.00pm and admission for the game, which will showcase a number of the current England Ladies team, is only £3 adults and £1 for concessions. After the Ladies match the Lichfield Junior League U12's final involving Cottage Farm Rangers will be played. All welcome, kick off between 4 and 5pm depending whether extra time is required in the FAWC match. Read More
