Worcester At Home On Tuesday

Sunday Aug 7, 2016

Local rivals City to visit The Lamb Midweek!

The first competitive fixture on the new 3G surface at The Lamb takes place on Tuesday evening, 7.45pm kick off. Worcester City are the visitors on this occasion, in what promises to be an important game for both sides.

While we came away from Brackley Town with a well deserved point on Saturday, the spoils were also shared in Worcesters opening game against Harrogate Town, which ended in a 2-2 draw.

Summer signings Greg Mills, Jack Lane, Joe Clarke, and Anthony Breslin all made their full debuts for the club on Saturday, while Louis Briscoe also appeared from the substitutes bench. All are in contention again for Tuesday night, although Stephan Morley remains sidelined with an arm injury.

For those supporters who have not already collected their season tickets, the club shop will again be open from 6.30pm on Tuesday in order for this to take place. For those yet to purchase, there are still a limited amount of tickets available, and a season pass remains the most cost effective way of supporting The Lambs in 2016/17.

Prices start from just £12 for adults (terrace) on Tuesday, and £2 for children (terrace). 751 attended the fixture between the home fixture between two clubs, and it would be great to beat that attendance this time around!
