Cefn Druids and Penybont visit on Saturday!

In the latest installment of pre season action, we prepare to host Welsh duo Cefn Druids and Penybont in back to boack home fixtures this Saturday. The idea of the games is to keep the first team squad, current trialists, as well as members of the U21 squad all on one site for the day. The two games will lead to plenty of pitch time for all, and will allow the first team management to view everyone involved.

The game with Cefn Druids will kick off at 1.00pm. As with the recent Coventry City game, adults will be priced at £5, concessions and 16/17 years olds will be priced at £3, while U16's will again be granted entry free of charge. Wrexham based Druids lay claim to being the oldest football club in Wales, and finished in eighth place in the Welsh Premier League last season.

Immediately following this, we will take on Penybont at 3.30pm. Formed via a merger of two existing teams in 2013, the Welsh Football League Division One side are set to include ex Lambs defender Owain Warlow in their squad for the game.

The entry fee for game one also covers the second game for those supporters who would like to view both. For anyone just wishing to view game two, free entry to the ground will be granted from around 3.00pm onward.

Following this weekend, a trip to Barwell will take place on Tuesday evening, before returning home to face Solihull Moors on Saturday 22nd, 3.00pm kick off.
