U21 products Aaron Opoku and Kai Davis have both been allowed to leave The Lamb on a temporary basis in order to gain valuable first team experience. Opoku heads to Stafford Rangers, while Davis makes the short trip to Barwell.
Having spent large periods of time on the first team bench of late, Manager Andy Morrell felt it vital that both players pick up some game time between now and the end of the season. Both will be closely monitored with a view to them being involved in first team activity here next season.
The likes of Jorna Moulton and Ryan Pace progressed from the U21 set up to be around the first team last season, while this season Dan Jezeph and Michael Wright have also made the transition, with the former making three recent starts following James Belshaw's injury absence.
