On Saturday the Lambs start their FA cup sponsored by Budweiser campaign with a home game against undefeated Solihull Moors. The Moors are one of only three teams in the top six divisions who remain undefeated with QPR and Cambridge United being the other two so a tough game is on the cards so we need the 'Everton' fans to get along to the Lamb and get behind the team in the 4th qualifying rather than wait for a 3rd round game as they don't come around that often. Be our 12th man
The game is a category B priced game ( see ticket info tab for further info) with home fans to use gates 3 to 6 and Cross Street. Moors fans are to use gates 1 and 2. Programme will be £1-50, Car parking £2, Coaches £10, Mini Buses £5. Hot and cold food available in all sections of the ground. Moors fans please note that no bar facilities are available for away supporters.
With an ever increasing injury list Manager Dale Belford was busy to bring in two more players on Youth Loans ahead of the game against the Moors and first to sign was 19 year old Northern Ireland Under 21 International David Morgan from Nottingham Forest.
Early Friday morning 20 year old Jordan Keane signed from Stoke City where he is the Academy team captain, formerly on the books at Wolverhampton Wanderers Jordan has had a spell during pre-season with Chesterfield and has been given a first team squad number by the Potters.
Despite being born in Nottingham Jordan has represented the Republic of Ireland at Youth level.
Both players have been given their parent squad numbers at Tamworth, David will wear number 33 with Jordan wearing number 34. Both deals went through and with the recent expulsion of Gainsborough Trinity from the FA Cup sponsored by Budweiser confirmation was received from FA Competitions Manager Steve Clark that the all was in order with the signings.
