Gary Mills has brought in two players ahead of the game against Rushden and Diamonds this Saturday (October 17) at Nene Park, kick off 3pm.
Taking squad no. 27 is Wayne Looker a 24 year old midfield player who last season was on the books of Histon FC but was not with a club this season and trained with the team on Thursday.
And taking squad no. 28 is Samuel Gaughran, a 19 year old defender signed on a months loan from Peterborough United.
Mills has had is hand 'forced' after losing Chris Smith, Michael Wylde, Neil MacKenzie and Dominic Langdon through injury while Gavin Hurren's loan at AFC Telford United has been extended by another month.
Following his injury clash which forced him from the field against Histon on Saturday, we can confirm that Michael Wylde has suffered a depressed fracture of the cheekbone. The injury could see Michael out for up to four weeks although if he is able to wear a protective mask he may be able to return sooner. We're sure you'll join us in wishing Wyldey all the best and a quick recovery.
Meanwhile, Peterborough United youngster Nathan Koranteng who joined up with Gary Mills' squad a few weeks ago and made one substitute appearance v Salisbury has been recalled by the London Road club with immediate effect. We would like to thank Nathan for his efforts for us and wish him all the best for the future.
