Transfer acitivity at Lamb

Thursday Aug 30, 2012

Manager Marcus Law is attemting to bolster his squad for the up and coming games as injuries have depleted the squad numbers available for selection. Added to this Tommy Wright's three match ban Marcus has been on the phone for 24 hours and as a result we signed right sided midfielder Michael Girvan who was released by Wigan Athletic in the summer. He will wear the number 29 shirt and will be playing for the Reserves at the Lamb on saturday as he gets much needed game time after a few months on the sidelines.

The club will be bringing in another striker on Friday on a loan deal and another loan deal for another striker from the Football League is currently under discussion. This palyer will be wearing the 32 shirt

Luke Bottomer has joined Stafford Rangers on Thursday on a one month loan deal which will see Luke get some more game time due to only playing for a few minutes this season on a couple of substitution appearances. Luke knows the Northern Premier League well having enjoyed a loan spell with Rushall Olympic for most of last season.

Troy Wallen is also looking at a loan move but we still await confrmation from another NPL side. If it goes ahead it will be a good move for Troy as he will jump two divisions after spending last season on loan at Midland Alliance side Heather St.Johns. The club are also looking for a loan deal for young keeper James Wren to keep him match sharp.

Will update on Friday when the loan deal has been processed.
