Defender's strike extended unbeaten run!
Steve Tomassen was the hero on Tuesday, as his 88th minute header rescued a point against Stockport County at The GST Gas Services Stadium at The Lamb, and made it 16 points from the last 18 available in National League North.
Attention now turns to the F.A. Trophy, before a return to league action away against Altrincham on December 3rd. Lambs skipper for the night, James Belshaw, caught up with Matt Panter to discuss the game.
Belshaw said: "We were a bit frustrated to go behind twice and I looked around the lads at the end and we were all a bit disappointed. I think that says a lot about the standards we now hold ourselves to."
"I thought it was a scrappy game to be honest but the main positive is that we have not lost the game. We have had a great six games but we haven't achieved anything yet. It is only November and so the key thing for us now is not to slack."
