Three players come in ahead of Salisbury tie

Thursday Sep 17, 2009

Gary Mills has brought in York midfielder Simon Russell on a month's emergency loan ahead of this weekend's match and we would like to welcome him to the Lamb. Simon started off at Hull City before joining Kidderminster Harriers where he stayed for four seasons.
He moved from Aggborough to Bootham Crescent, York in August 2008 on a free transfer and made an appearance in the FA Trophy Final last season, but has found chances limited this season. He takes squad number 24.

Also joining the squad from Peterborough United are Danny Andrew - a left sided defender / midfielder - on a short term loan and Nathan Koranteng a full back on work experience.

Other team news ahead of the Salisbury game on Saturday, which kicks off at The Lamb at 3pm is that Michael Wylde has suffered a setback in his recuperation with Neil MacKenzie, Alex Rodman and Dominic Langdon all remaining on the injury list.
