Three more signed

Tuesday Jun 3, 2014

TAMWORTH FC have announced a triple transfer swoop after landing Nuneaton Town’s James Belshaw, Connor Taylor and Jon Adams. The signing of England C keeper Belshaw is a major coup for the Lambs, who have been searching for a replacement for Cameron Belford. Midfielder Jon Adams also offers valuable experience and former Aston Villa trainee Connor Taylor provides the Lambs with width. Belford said: “I am delighted to get these three lads on board. “James is fantastic keeper and it’s already common knowledge that Nuneaton are disappointed to have lost him. “I was keen to bring him to the club as I know what a talented player he is. Belford added: “Jon Adams is someone I have been after for a while now. “He’s a great age, at 28, a very fit player who is technically strong. He will work hard too. “I am sure the fans will enjoy his play. “As for Connor, he already knows the club following his loan spell here a couple of years ago. “He was only 17 at the time but he has become a man now. What he will bring is tenacity, pace and energy.”
