Tamworth v Brackley Town Tue 8 Sept. KO 7.45

Monday Sep 7, 2020

We welcome Brackley Town to the Lamb on Tuesday evening (KO 7.45).

National League North outfit Brackley suffered the agony of play off defeat after an excellent campaign in the the National League North last season. In their latest pre-season friendly on Saturday they travelled to Banbury United and gained a 1 - 0 victory.

This is the first time we have played Brackley since we were relegated from the National League North. We have played each other 8 times in league fixtures with Tamworth winning twice, Brackley getting the better of the Lambs twice and 4 games being drawn. Callum Powell was on the score sheet the last time we faced each other at the Lamb on 20 January 2018 in a 1-1 draw.

We welcomed supporters back to the Lamb on Saturday and it was great to see so many familiar faces. Tamworth FC would like to thanks fans for the way they conducted themselves with the new COVID guidelines in force. These will continue at the game on Tuesday and we ask supporters to remain vigilant with the virus cases still growing.
