Tamworth Football Club Announce their Own Spring Festival - “Tamworth Rocks” Following on from the success of various music festivals in the town, Tamworth Football Club have revealed the creation of their own festival, dedicated to the country's best tribute acts - “Tamworth Rocks”, which will take place at The Lamb on Saturday 26th May 2012 from 11.00am until 10.00pm.
Speaking on behalf of the Club, Nick Lunn, Commerical Manager says “we have had the idea of doing our own festival to engage our local community for some time now. We have finally secured a diverse line up and are beyond excited to bring “Tamworth Rocks” to our local community as well as surrounding areas”.
Bands currently confirmed to appear at “Tamworth Rocks” include tributes to Take That, Girls Aloud, Coldplay, Freddie Mercury, Kasabian and the more recent musical sensation, boy band JLS. To kick start this fantastic line up will be successful local acts, Decade Runners, Voodoo Vegas and Ellie Robinson. Tamworth Football Club have also joined forces with BRMB radio presenter Russ Morris, who will host the musical extravaganza.
Tickets are now on sale to the public, priced at £20 for adults, £10 for under 16's and under 6's go free.
