A crowd of 989 witnessed an entertaining game at the CR MOT Centre Community Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Tamworth will be encouraged by their display against a skilful and pacey Villa outfit. Had the Lambs taken their chances - including two missed penalties, the scoreline would have been a lot closer. Substitute Dan Creaney hit the target for the Lambs in the second period.
