Support the Lambs on Tuesday

Monday Jan 27, 2020

Massive game for Tamworth v  Royston Town on Tues evening.

Tamworth have a great opportunity to close the gap on Bromsgrove Sporting on Tuesday evening, but they face the division’s in form team - Royston Town. The Crows have been on fire, not just in the league, but also in the FA Trophy where they have claimed the scalps of higher league opposition. The Lambs will need to be on top of their game to overcome their visitors, especially on the back of three straight league defeats.

Joint Manager Gary Smith told the Tamworth Herald that the team are up for the game, "We will look to rectify it quickly.

"We will need the fans. I know myself, from when I was a player, when you go on a bad run, that's when you really need everyone singing from the same hymn sheet. You need everyone pulling in the right direction. "Our fans have been superb so far this season - and I thank them for everything they have done. "But this is a time when we really need them to come and get behind us and be that extra man."

The management team will assess the fitness of Rhys Hoeness who missed the game at Peterborough Sports, but it is likely that Chris Lait will be missing again following an injury picked up before the home game against Leiston last week.

We need a large following to be in full voice on Tuesday evening to get behind the lads as they look to bounce back to form.

Don'f forget that there is full coverage of the game on the Lambs Media Mixlr Channel brought to you by onlysupernews.com There will also be regular updates on our social media channels.
