Strong 'Improving Every Game'

Friday Mar 18, 2016

Curtis feels he is starting to show his best form.

Lambs left back Curtis Strong caught up with Matt Panter of the Tamworth Herald this week.

He told Herald Sport: "I feel like I am improving every game, getting better with every match. I think I have adjusted to the league finally. I remember speaking earlier in the season and I was just so frustrated because I felt like I wasn't showing the fans what I could do. But now I feel like I am playing my game the way I know I can, getting forward and defending well, creating chances and getting goals."

Strong, meanwhile, has been pleased with the turnaround in fortunes of the side as the season reaches a critical stage. The Lambs have closed the gap on Nuneaton, who occupy the final play-off place, to just two points.

"I am really pleased with the way things are going and, more importantly, the way the team is playing," he said. "The lads have been second to none of late. We have still got eight games left so we are going to go for it in every game and will try to win them all."
