Striker Signs

 Taylor is a Lamb!

Manager Dennis Greene has moved to increase attacking options at the club with the capture of Michael Taylor from Stratford Town on an 18 month contract. Taylor has impressed for Town, hitting 14 goals in all competitions, and Greene told Matt Panter of The Tamworth Herald that he was delighted with the signing.

"He knows the level - he is the third highest scorer in the division at present" said Greene. "He has energy and power and knows how to score goals. I want to press from the front, high up the pitch with energy, so Mike fits in to that. I'm a manager who likes to have the best firepower available at my disposal. That has always been my philosophy. I like to build from attack as goals win games. Now we have Mike, Gregg Smith, Cameron Johnson, David Parkhouse and Tyrell Waite - so we have plenty of options."

Subject to FA clearance Taylor could make his Lambs debut at home to St Ives on Saturday afternoon.
