Huge game at Edgeley Park!
After last minute heartbreak on Tuesday night at home to Kidderminster Harriers, it is approaching 'now or never' time in our chase for a playoff position. Stockport County our the next opponents, before a home fixture with Harrogate Town a week tomorrow (Saturday April 1st, 3.00pm kick off).
Stockport sit just one place above us in the National League North standings at the moment, although there is a 4 point gap between the sides. The Hatters are unbeaten in their last 4, but have one just once in that time.
It is therefore no surprise that that last 3 meetings between the sides have ended all square. Both meetings last season were 1-1 draws, with Elliott Durrell scoring for us on both occasions. County's visit to The GST Gas Services Stadium At The Lamb earlier this season finished 2-2, with Jed Davies and Steve Tomassen finding the back of the net for us on that occasion.
Manager Andy Morrell has plenty of options available to him at present, with the likes of Ellis Deeney, Ross Dyer, Callum Powell, and Paul Green all in contention to step up from the bench. Leicester City loanee Brandon Fox also trained last night, and could be considered.
For those wishing to make use of official club transport, the coach is scheduled to leave The Lamb at 11.30am. Adult TFCSC members will be charged £13, while U16's will be £8. Non members will be charged an additional £5.
