After last weeks signings the Lambs have had a busy few days and can now release more names of players who have put pen to paper for the new season. Joining from Nuneaton Town are Danny Sleath and David Hibbert who are both 28 years old and played over 40 games last season in Nuneaton's successful Conference Premier campaign.
Danny is a winger with David a centre forward who has caused our defence many headaches over the years so we are pleased to have him on our side of the pitch. After joining the Lambs on a loan deal last season we are very pleased to report that we have secured the signing of Kevin Thornton from Wrexham. Kevin enjoyed his time at the Lambs and is looking forward to helping the club back up the pyramid.
We have also ensured there will be competition for the keepers shirt by signing Phil Smith who now lives in Tamworth and was last season playing for Atherstone Town. He was previously on the books of Cambridge United having been in their Academy and was well thought of by their staff.
The latest to sign is former Birmingham City and Herford United central defender Dan Preston who has been signed from AFC Telford United where he spent last season helping the team to the Conference North table.
We welcome all of the new players and cannot wait for the first training session on Saturday 28th June
More signings are imminent so news of them will be on twitter and on line as soon as we can release the details.
