Manager Dale Belford has secured one of his targets by securing the signature of experienced striker Justin Richards. Justin has over 400 plus games and in 2006 won an England C cap.  Sandwell born Justin began his career on the books of WBA in 1997, A two year youth deal lead to a full time contract in 1999 which saw a one senior team appearance. In 2001 he moved to Bristol Rovers for a five figure fee and during his spell with the Pirates went out on loan to Colchester United and Stevenage Borough.

Stevenage took Justin for a season then he went to Woking for two seasons before returning back to the FL with Peterborough United. Further loan spells at Grays Athletic and Boston United. In 2007 Kidderminster Harriers were the next club for Justin and in 69 games he scored 22 goals. His first spell at Oxford United was in 2008 when he went on loan, Moves to Cheltenham Town (44 games 11 goals), Port Vale (42 games/9 goals), Burton Albion (48 appearances/12 goals) followed before finally ending last season at Oxford United.

Justin will be wearing the Number 9 shirt at the Lamb this season.
