Reserves hit five, good news elsewhere

Tamworth's second string hit five first half goals with no reply past Gresley Rovers at The Lamb on Saturday afternoon with a very strong first-team-influenced side taking making the most of their obvious advantage.

Gary Mills watched from the terraces while assistant boss Darron Gee took his place in the dugout, with Darren Fulford on holiday, as Michael Wylde and Stuart Nicholson both scored twice and Mark Rawle also hit the back of the net.

Elsewhere King's Lynn defeated Gateshead to ensure The Lambs stayed at the top of the league ahead of next Saturday's crunch match against AFC Telford (3pm at The Lamb) while both Southport and Telford progressed in the FA Trophy.
