After the First FA Cup shock of the First Round on Friday evening when FCUM defeated Rochdale away The Lambs will be hoping that they will be making the headlines on Saturday night when Football League Division Two side Crewe Alexandra are the visitors at the Lamb for the eagerly awaited FA Cup sponsored by E.ON game which kicks off at 3.00pm.
The game is not all ticket, tickets can be purchased at the turnstiles from 1.30pm onwards. For home fans to gain access into the Social Club turnstile 4 will open at 12.30pm. It is recommended that if a seat is required supporters arrive early as they have been selling well during the week and numbers are limited. Seat tickets can be purchased over the phone betwen 10.30am and 12.00pm by using a debit or credit card. A £1 charge will be added for credit card purchases.
Crewe have not sold out of their allocation so there will be a number of terrace tickets on sale for away fans on Gate 1 and a very limited number of seat tickets on sale at Gate 2A.
There was a late scare for Caretaker Manager Des Lyttle as Richard Tait who all week had been doubtful for the game came through a fitness test at the Lamb late on Friday afternoon. The Crewe game has attracted a large number of scouts from The Premiership and Football League. Premiership giants Arsenal and Liverpool have requested scout passes and it will be the first time that they have had representatives at the Lamb this season.
Programmes will be on sale price £2-50 (£3-50 if required by post)
If the match ends in a draw the replay will be at Gresty Road on Tuesday 16th November, kick off 7.45pm. The game at Darlington on the 9th will go ahead as planned.
Remember that highlights will be shown on ITV on Saturday evening.
