HAVING started his Lambs’ career with two impressive displays against Solihull Moors and Lowestoft Town, recent arrival, Danny Racchi, is enjoying working under former Bury team-mate, Andy Morrell...
“The most difficult thing so far is remembering to call him Gaffer rather than Mozza,” said the 27 year-old with a smile. “I know him well from our time at Bury; I’ve got a lot of respect for him and learned a lot from him back then.
“I’d like to think I can now help some of the younger lads here in the same way as Mozza – sorry, the Gaffer – helped me.
“There’s a good set of lads here; I’ve enjoyed my first few games and I just want to push on now and get games under my belt and help the team pick up more points.
“We did really well in our last game and hopefully we can continue that at the weekend when we return to home soil against Hednesford Town.
“This club is geared up to play at a higher level and I just want to get my head down, work hard and help us achieve that.
“We’re looking forward to Saturday’s game because it is a local derby and there is sure to be a good crowd and a good atmosphere.”
Racchi opened his scoring account in the convincing 4-0 triumph at Lowestoft Town last weekend.
