PLENTY TO BUILD ON

Wednesday Oct 14, 2015

LEADING goalscorer, Elliott Durrell, is confident that The Lambs can get back on track after defeats in our last two matches – our first of the campaign...

“The last two games have been frustrating,” he admitted. “Against Alfreton we found ourselves two goals up and cruising.

“We took our foot off the gas and ended up paying the price.

“Then at Curzon we weathered an early storm and were the better side for long periods; on another day I would have bagged a few goals, but then we conceded a sloppy goal and their tails were up.

“It was one of those days, but we won’t get too down. It’s a long season and there are plenty of points to play for.

“There have been a lot of positives to come out of the start of the season. We have a good squad here and whilst there are aspects that we need to improve on, we’re in a good place.

“There is plenty to build upon. We maybe should have turned some of the draws into wins, but we’re looking forward to Saturday now having recharged our batteries.”

Come along to The Lamb on Saturday as we take on League leaders, Solihull Moors - it's going to be a cracker!
