Tamworth kept promotion seeking Oxford at bay at The Lamb on Sunday afternoon and whilst frustrating their front men, also gave the United defence something to think about in a game that could have gone either way in both halves. Oxford had the better chances in the first with MOM Danny Alcock preventing the visitors, while in the second half Alcock had relatively little to do as The Lambs frustrated the Oxford back line.
