Gary is now back from holiday and actively ringing around players. He has already issued instructions for four players to be placed on contract. Jake Sheridan, Richard Tait, Aaron Mitchell and Nick Wright have already confirmed that they will resign for the Lambs. A new face will be added to the squad and details will be on line as soon as the player has put pen to paper

Gary is now back from holiday and actively ringing around players. He has already issued instructions for four players to be placed on contract. Jake Sheridan, Richard Tait, Aaron Mitchell and Nick Wright have already confirmed that they will resign for the Lambs. Pre season training is to commence on Monday 5th July so there is still a few weeks to go for Gary to add to his squad for the forthcoming season. Hopefully the League fixtures will be out early July as well so should be a busy time around the club.
Tom Shaw signed for Kidderminster Harriers during the last week.
Visitors to arriving at The Lamb will notice the car park has been improved. The surface has had 400 tonnes of road shavings spread onto it and them rolled in to firm up the surface. The shaving came from the recent improvements to the Glascote Road.
Work is ongoing around the stadium with Buster mending the broken pitch surround boards and repairing the wooden frames in the toilet block by the seated stand.
Working parties supplied by Turnaround, Adult Services of Burton, HB training , Mencap and local students on work experience will all be working on various projects during the next few weeks and in the process gaining much needed work experience.
This on top of the recent involvement with the schools and the world cup is ensuring the club is getting a lot of new people down to the Lamb.
The early bird season ticket offer was a great success and a result the club has seen a significant increase in the number of fans purchasing a season ticket. We hope the pay at the gate support will also increase by the same percentage which will certainly be of a benefit to the club during these difficult financial times
On Friday 18th June the clubhouse will be open for the England v Algeria game. The doors open at 6.30pm and the clubhouse will give families the opportunity to watch the game and have a pint in comfort. A promotion on Carlsberg Lager and Tetley Bitter will run throughout the evening ( happy hour prices).
Saturday 3rd July will see Tamworth FC in Ankerside in conjunction with TFSC. Gary Mills will be also be making an appearance during the day.
Nick Lunn will also be taking orders for the new shirt which will also be on display.
The TFSC will also be holding a BBQ evening after the Aberdeen match on the 24th June, all supporters are welcome to attend. It is hoped that a number of Aberdeen fans who will staying in the area will also stay and enjoy Tamworths hospitality.
Gavin Hurren who ended last season on loan at Gateshead FC has moved to Australia The club were informed by The Football Association that his International Certificate had been transferred to the AFA.
