News on two strikers
Tamworth FC and Tony Thorpe have mutually agreed to cancel the striker's contract and registration with the club due to the eye condition that has prevented him from being involved.
The problem he has suffered with vision, stemming from when he scratched the eye on a tile while working, has progressively become worse and no significant improvement was envisaged in the near future.
TFC thanks Tony for his services in the short time he was with the club and wishes him well for the future.
We can also confirm that Luke Edwards is to join Hinckley United on a short term deal.
He is still very much part of manager Gary Mills' plans but going to Hinckley will give him important match action.
