Tamworth manager Gary Mills signed Nick Wright who had a short loan spell with The Lambs early last year, on Thursday, Oct 17
The 6ft 3in Wright, who can play as a central striker or on the wing, was with his home town club Birmingham City but left after pre-season to get regular football and linked up with Halesowen where he was non-contract.
Mills saw the player score twice in a 4-1 win over Tamworth's cup opponents King's Lynn and put in seven days notice of approach. Wright has signed a contract to the end of the season.
It was in the FA Cup Third Round at Stoke City that Wright made his Tamworth debut on loan from Blues. He played against Accrington in the Conference, St Albans in the Trophy and the replay against Stoke at The Lamb brought his month stay to an end.
"I have fond memories of Tamworth, short as they were, and I am happy to be back," he said.
Last season Wright had month long loan spells at Bristol City, making one appearance and three as sub, and then Northampton, making two starts and sub twice.
