Tamworth are in action this coming Saturday when Gary Mills squad make the long trip North to face Gateshead at their International Stadium for the first time in over 20 years.
With both Southport and Telford in FA Trophy action on Saturday it means The Lambs could strengthen their position at the top of the league, but will have to overcome the 4th placed Tynesiders to do so.
Gateshead have been enjoying a very purple patch of late and have risen into the play off zone with an impressive record.
Lambs boss Gary Mills is under no illusions as to the test his squad will face which, other than the injury to Dominic Langdon, is fully fit and includes recent re-signing Chris Nurse.
The team are travelling up on Friday to enable a 'normal' start on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, if you would like to travel to the game on the official TFC supporters coach which is departing the Lamb on Saturday morning at 9.30am the cost is £14 per person - please contact the club during normal office hours on Friday.
Meanwhile our two recently postponed games have been confirmed as being rearranged as follows;
H v Hinckley United - Tuesday, February 17, 2009 - 7.45pm
A v Burscough - Tuesday, March 24, 2009 - 7.45pm
Alex Melbourne who made one full and two non playing substitute appearances in recent games has returned to Wolverhampton Wanderers and we would like to thank Alex for his efforts during his brief stop at The Lamb and wish him all the best in the future.
