SnowDome have agreed a three year shirt sponsorship deal whilst Automotive Solutions have agreed a one year short sponsorship. Admiral will be manufacturing the Lambs’ playing and replica kits.
SnowDome Managing Director Martin Smith says “We are thrilled to be shirt sponsor for the next three years. A town’s football club is often at the very heart of the community and our long-established, widely used venue is also a significant provider of community facilities and employs widely from the local community. For the Lambs and SnowDome to be partners seemed a very logical, mutually beneficial fit.
“We are very much looking forward to enhancing the Junior Lambs with off-pitch initiatives. We are similarly delighted to be able to support the club with, for example, player fitness levels through use of the SnowDome Swim & Fitness gym and pool facility. Following the fantastic success of last season the fitness levels will be even more important and we are happy to play a part in this aspect once again.”
Nick Lunn, Tamworth FC Commercial Manager, commented “We already had excellent links with the SnowDome and this now takes it to the next level, it seems a natural synergy for both parties to go forward with this sponsorship and importantly, this sponsorship will also significantly enhance their brand recognition by bringing them television, local and national press coverage.”
The Lambs will also have a new short sponsor, Automotive Solutions, whose company name will adorn the shorts of the Lambs’ playing kits next season. Pete Collins, Managing Director of the Tamworth-based company said “I run a vehicle logistics company in which we collect and deliver vehicles nationwide for various dealerships, major fleet and lease hire companies and private individuals by either driving them on trade plates or by car transporter. I’m absolutely delighted to be associated with Tamworth Football Club who I’ve been a massive fan of since a young age. It’s great to be able to put something back into Tamworth and also help the club achieve their goals as we have some exciting times to come. I firmly believe in helping local businesses and will actively strive to achieve that whenever possible.”
In addition to these sponsorship deals, Admiral, one of sport’s most iconic trademarks, will manufacture the club's playing and replica kits until 2012. Created in 1914, Admiral's heritage is second to none: during their 40-year association with professional football they pioneered replica football kits, as well as becoming the first major brand to produce kits for the England national team. The Lambs' new home kit will be red shirts, red shorts and red socks whilst the away kit will see the team sporting all blue.
The new 2009/10 replica kit will be on sale from the The Club Shop at the Lamb ground and at our outlet in the town centre ‘Kicks & Dribblers, St Georges Market from 11th July 2009 when the Lambs play the first friendly versus Leicester City
