MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

Friday Dec 4, 2015

IT’S a return to National League action for The Lambs on Saturday as we entertain Worcester City (kick-off 3.00pm)...

With six League games unbeaten, allied to last weekend’s 6-2 FA Trophy success at Corby Town, we go into the game full of confidence against a Worcester side whose fortunes have started to improve following a slow start to the season.

“Things are progressing in the right direction,” said player-manager, Andy Morrell. “We’re not quite where we want to be just yet, but we are getting there.

“We’ve proved hard to beat but at the same time I don’t think that we’ve reached the standards that I know we are capable of.

“This is the start of a really busy period, with some tough games. There’s a real determination amongst this group and we’re looking forward to the challenge.

“It was disappointing to lose Owain Warlow and Danny Racchi this week, but we understand their decision to leave the club due to the travelling that was involved for both players.

“Naturally we wish them well in the future and thank them for their efforts.”

Come along to The Lamb on Saturday and show your support to Andy Morrell and the players as we look to strengthen our position in the upper echelons of the League table...
