LAMBS boss, Andy Morrell, is relishing the challenge that stands before us in the Vanarama National League North during the season ahead...
There is a mix of local clubs such as Hednesford Town, Nuneaton, Solihull Moors, AFC Telford United and Worcester City alongside the likes of Alfreton Town, Boston United, Stockport County and FC United of Manchester.
“It’s going to be a tougher League than last year,” said Morrell without hesitation. “In my view, there are 10 or 12 teams with serious promotion aspirations.
“It all makes for an interesting competition and one that we look forward to with relish.
“I’ve always said that this League is a mentality League. If you turn up with the right mentality to dig in and do the basics right, you’ll have a chance, if not, you will get punished.
“You have to have the right attitude and we’ll be instilling this into the players from day one.
“That’s why it is important that we bring together a close-knit group of players who are prepared to work hard for each other and do what is required.”
