Morrell on Harriers defeats

Saturday Sep 17, 2016

"They are the best side we have faced during my time at The Lamb", Morrell said after the full time whistle had blown on Saturday, "We've had a torrid time of it this week but it can't continue."

"We showed more today than we did on Tuesday night and going three at the back today seemed to be working but when you can't defend set pieces or defend in a way that I wouldn't want to see at Junior level, I have to start questioning the commitment of certain players."

"Unlike on Tuesday where Kidderminster worked the ball through and played flowing football, today the goals were avoidable, and we've got to be better if we want to be up there near the end of the season."

"It's not acceptable that no one knows what team will be turning up every game, if I had a set of young lads then I could understand it but there are a number of players with league experience and hundreds of games under their belts in the squad, the side has been too inconsistent. We will be looking at how we can add to the squad or change things in the coming week as a quarter of the season has already gone, we have a tough October ahead of us and need to dig in and compete consistently."
