THE LAMBS head to bottom of the table Corby Town on Saturday determined to get back into winning ways...

We have already come away from Steel Park with a victory this season, having beaten them 6-2 in the FA Trophy and more of the same would be most welcome on this occasion as we go into the first of two games in three days.

“It’s all about going there with the right attitude and producing a performance that will bring us three points,” admitted player-manager, Andy Morrell. “We will go there with a clear focus on getting the win.

“We’ve worked hard on our game-plan in training this week and now we just want to get out there and starting putting it into practice.

“A couple of wins in these next two games and all of a sudden the picture changes, but, it’s a cliché I know, we have to take it one game at a time.

“We’ve already gone to Corby and scored six goals, so we’ll take the confidence from that into the game but at the same time we know that our hosts are battling for the points to pull themselves off the bottom.

“We have tended to struggle in games against sides who are fighting for their lives, so we must make sure that we approach it in the right way and be mentally strong.

“The lads know that they let themselves down in our last game and fell well below the standards that we expect.

“Basic errors cost us dear and we have to make sure that we bounce back in the right way on Saturday.”
