Final away trip of 2016 tomorrow!
Speaking to Matt Panter of the Tamworth Herald prior to tomorrow's clash with playoff rivals Chorley, Andy Morrell had the following thoughts. "They have beaten us already this season and I always say that I never like to lose twice in a season to the same team so hopefully we can go there and get a result.
"It won't be easy. They are flying, and will be in the mix at the end of the season. They are very solid side and don't concede many goals. A lot of their games are close. They have got threats at the other end of the pitch too, so we are going to have to be at our best to get anything out of it."
"But if we go out with the same mentality we have in our league games recently we are in with a chance."
Meanwhile, the match winner last time out at Altrincham, Louis Briscoe, added "I remember it was a really tight game at The Lamb. They set themselves up very well at our place and scored through a great finish from Jason Walker. It was one of those games where a goal was going to come through a bad defensive mistake or through a great finish and it turned out to be the latter."
It was the kind of game where I felt we did more than enough to deserve a draw but didn't do enough to win it. I expect this weekend to be tight too. They don't concede many goals and so the first goal could well prove to be very important."
Following the Chorley fixture, The Lambs return home to host Nuneaton Town on Boxing Day, with a 1.00pm kick off.
