Mills on defeat by Telford

Saturday Feb 7, 2009

Lambs boss Gary Mills is looking for his side to bounce back, from the 1-0 reversal suffered at the hands of AFC Telford United on Saturday, with a result over Vauxhall Motors next weekend.

"We are all disappointed and gutted that we didn't get anything from the match today but it is just one game and we want to get back on course at Vauxhall next weekend."

"I thought we were superb and created some good chances in the first half hour but we didn't take them. Their penalty was for deliberate handball so we are bemused as to why it didn't warrant a second booking for Dominic Langdon and sending off.

"If it wasn't deliberate, then there was no foul. But referees, assistants and all of us see things differently and we all have our own view of the game and incidents and it's not something we want to waste time getting drawn into.

"What is important is that we work hard and get back to playing how we know we can next weekend as it's getting tight at the top."
