Mills - 'For the first time today, we were second best'

Saturday Oct 10, 2009

Wyldey gets the plauditsLambs boss Gary Mills gave an honest appraisal of his sides performance against Histon, which saw Tamworth fall to their second home defeat of the season, and their third in a row. Watch the post match interview in the main body of this story to hear the thoughts of 'The Gaffer'.

Lambs goalscoring man of the match Michael Wylde went to hospital after the game for a check up on the knock he got to his head on the advice of the club doctor. We'll let you know how things are going as soon as we have more information.

Next up for Tamworth is a league trip to Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday Oct 17, but prior to that on Monday lunchtime, we will learn our opponents in the 4th Qualifying Round of this seasons FA Cup.

Thanks to Mike Taylor of BBC Radio WM for asking the questions (and holding the microphone!).
Radio WM spent all day at The Lamb interviewing fans and management before and after the game as well as reporting during the match, and we hope to see them back at The Lamb soon.
