THE LAMBS came back from Harrogate Town with a point on Saturday.

Andy Morrell’s side had won three and drawn one of their opening four League games following Tuesday’s victory over AFC Telford taking them onto ten points.

Harrogate are right up there too as they had also picked up three wins so far, and sat a point behind The Lambs.

Having bagged a brace in the Telford game, Shane Clarke, was ready for the challenge that Harrogate will present to us.

“We’re taking things a game at a time and our focus now is on Harrogate,” he said. “We trained hard on Thursday and have done our preparation work on the game, so we’ll just go from there.

“We need to make sure that we keep rolling on and totting up the points. We can’t look further than the next game.

“I am really happy where things are at right now both for the team and myself personally. I’m pleased with my overall performances; we all set personal targets and I am ahead of the game in terms of goals at the moment.

“I’m delighted with that, but the main thing is that the team continues to pick up points and move forward.

“There are areas that we need to work on, but things will settle down. We can’t ask for more than the start we have made after four games and hopefully it will continue on Saturday at Harrogate.”
