After an exciting goalless draw which triggered Blue Square's generous ‘0-0 cashback', York City and Darlington can relax as the other 22 teams in the Blue Square Bet Premier embark on their midweek fixtures. From eight matches on Tuesday we witness two huge games in the division as four former Football League teams lock horns in the top half of the table. Dean Saunders takes his Wrexham side to Grimsby Town with an eight game unbeaten streak behind them. There may be too many draws for Saunders' liking in amongst those results but things look to be improving at the Racecourse Ground. Grimsby are adjusting to life at this level and their home form has been patchy of late. An excellent win over Luton Town in front of the Premier Sports cameras was a certain high point, although home fans have also witnessed relative minnows Hayes & Yeading United scoop three points from their visit to Blundell Park and recently promoted Fleetwood Town do the same. Neil Woods' Mariners have not won in their last four matches but are the 11/10 favourites to return to winning ways here. Wrexham are 2/1, with the draw looking a decent bet at 12/5. The news coming out of Mansfield Town is full of positivity as the required investment has appeared from out of the blue to propel their title dreams. That's just reward for their boss David Holdsworth who got his head down and got on with the job despite some difficult times in the last few months. Now he can look forward to trying to get the Stags promoted with some financial stability. Holdsworth will need to improve Mansfield's form against the teams in the top nine in the division. All three matches they have already played against their fellow ‘form teams' have ended in defeat - without scoring a single goal. They face an away trip to another top nine club on Tuesday night and those statistics have contributed to a price of 3/1 for them to win at Luton Town. The Hatters were shocked by Gateshead at the weekend and that was their third away defeat of the season. They are yet to suffer back-to-back losses meaning boss Richard Money has shown his ability to get his side bouncing back. Luton are the strong favourites to win at 4/5 but again I would favour another draw here at a price of 12/5.

Newport County continue to go from strength-to-strength and they are the shortest priced favourites of the midweek programme. Dean Holdsworth's team are 4/9 to win at home and extend their long unbeaten record at Spytty Park as Forest Green Rovers are the visitors. Kettering Town are experiencing a mini-revival under new boss Morell Maison and are odds-on at 4/6 to beat bottom club Altrincham. Kidderminster Harriers were impressive on Sunday as they knocked AFC Wimbledon out of their stride. Their manager Steve Burr will be demanding some consistency from his team as they travel to Bath City as the slight 11/8 favourites. Fresh from their win over Luton Town, Gateshead are the 13/10 match favourites for their away game at Histon. Ian Bogie's team have kept four clean sheets in their last five games and will be a tough nut for the struggling hosts to crack. Barrow's injury troubles have knocked them off their stride in recent weeks and it's no surprise to see Fleetwood Town quoted as the favourites for their trip to Holker Street. An away win is offered at 5/4 with a Barrow win a 7/4 chance. Southport are odds-on favourites for their home match with Hayes & Yeading United, with the Middlesex outfit making some appeal at a quote of 13/5 after a win at Grimsby and a draw at Luton in recent away games.

Wednesday night sees the new Blue Square Bet Premier favourites Crawley Town host Tamworth and it's 1/2 that Steve Evans' team can win to keep their lead until a weekend home tie with Kidderminster and then an all important trip to Luton Town in a week's time. AFC Wimbledon host Cambridge United after being knocked off top spot on Sunday. Both sides lost their weekend games without scoring a goal and a goalless draw is a real possibility at  8/1, with ‘under 2.5 goals' an extremely appealing bet at odds of 4/5. Rushden & Diamonds were play-off semi-final losers last season and that has maybe led to them being knocked for confidence at the beginning of this campaign. Three straight wins at the end of August signaled an upturn in form but they have slumped to three defeats in five games since and unsurprisingly receive a quote as big as 6/4 to win at Eastbourne on Wednesday night.

Kidderminster Harriers (to beat Bath City)

Gateshead (to beat Histon)

Hayes & Yeading United (to beat Southport)

A £10 treble returns £196.65p at the current Blue Square prices.

The odds for the game at Crawley on Wednesday evening (as at lunchtime Tuesday) are home win 1/2, draw 11/4 and 5/1 for a Tamworth away win
