WITH no game this weekend, The Lambs will be taking on Lichfield City in a behind-closed-doors training game this evening...
It will be an opportunity for some players to get extra game-time, whilst player-manager, Andy Morrell, will be able to try out various formations against our Midland League opponents.
“We thank Lichfield City for providing the opposition,” said Morrell. “It’s a chance to get some minutes into some of the lads and try out a few things.
“It’s going to be a useful exercise for us in light of the fact that we have no game on Saturday.
“Everyone is playing for a shirt after our performance in the last game, so this is a real chance for some of them.”
The Lambs will be having a team-bonding day on Saturday.
