Tamworth duo Nick Chadwick and Duane Courtney have been working on their rehabilitation programme with the help of the Perform team at St. Georges Park this week.
The Lambs pair have undergone four days of intensive rehab at Perform at St. Georges Park, the National Football Centre in Burton upon Trent, on a course funded by the Professional Footballers Association.
The Tamworth medical staff have been working closely with Perform to help deliver a comprehensive rehabilitation plan for the players.
Working as an extension of the Tamworth medical team Perform, whose facilities are also open to the general public, have been putting the duo through their paces with their team of physiotherapists, sports medicine doctors, sport scientists, strength and conditioning specialists, Pilates specialists and soft tissue therapists.
Nick Chadwick forward for The Lambs said It has been great to have hands on individual treatment throughout the week. We are very fortunate to have these amazing facilities on our doorstep.
The aftercare programme has been outstanding and I cant wait to be back out training with the team.
The PFA scheme has so far served over 300 weeks of rehabilitation to over 150 players from 62 different clubs, as well as ex-players and those who are out of contract.
Phil Horton, Perform Director, said; Perform at St. Georges Park is our flagship sports medicine and human performance facility in the UK and we are delighted to be serving such an important role with the PFA.
We have been servicing the needs of both professional and grass roots sports men and women since opening in 2012 and we continue to go from strength to strength.
