Lambs Home On Saturday

Monday Mar 11, 2019

 Banbury next visitors!

Gary Smith and Andrew Danylyszyn's Lambs will be seeking a fourth consecutive home league victory on Saturday, as we prepare to welcome Banbury United to The Lamb in The Southern League Premier (Central), 3.00pm kick off.

Banbury have an identical league record to ourselves, having won 11, drawn 11, and lost 12 league games out of 34 played so far. However, thanks to a four point deduction due to fielding an ineligible player, The Puritans currently sit four points behind us in the table with just eight games to go, having lost against leaders Kettering Town last time out.

The squad will be assessed over the next 24 hours, however the group that travelled on Saturday to Needham Market appears to have a clean bill of health. Aman Verma and Kristian Green are making progress with their injuries although this weekend may come too soon for both. Jordan Gough is closer to a return, while we will also have to wait to see if Jack Concannon's loan agreement will be renewed.

As always, tickets are available from £11 for adults, £7 for concessions, and just £2 for U16's. With just four home games remaining, it would be great to beat our highest attendance of the season (736) that was recorded against Halesowen last time out!
