Lambs Greatest manager - Final

 After nearly a month of voting, The Lambs 'Greatest Manager/managerial team' poll has reached the last four.

 Since the formation of Tamworth Football Club in 1933 we have had nearly 50 managers / management teams in charge of who turns out in a Lambs shirt in the hope of league victory or cup glory.

 Hopefully you have enjoyed taking part in our fun poll to find the Lambs 'Greatest manager' which started on Sunday 10 May on our @tamworthfc Twitter account and we'd like to thank Matt Panter of the Tamworth Herald for making the draws in subsequent rounds. By the time the winner is announced 3000 votes will been cast - thanks for taking part!


 The final is on Saturday 30 May.and the final 4 line up as follows;

 To help you make your decisions when we post the polls, we've put together a a short history of each of the managers vying for your votes, in date order.

  •   Graham Smith - 271 games
      - West Midlands League promotion to the Southern League and the League Cup Final in 1988
      - FA Vase Winners in 1989
  •   Paul Hendrie - 350 games
      - Promotion from the Southern League Midland in 1997
      - FA Cup exploits to Exeter, Scarborough and Bury
  •   Gary Mills (2000-02) - 81 games
      - FA Cup exploits to Rochdale
      - The historic season which ended at Folkestone
  •   Gary Smith & Andrew Danylyszyn & Thomas Baillie - 58 games
      - highest win % of any bosses and on course for promotion
      - FA Cup exploits to Hereford
