Rushden's Lee Tomlin scored twice and set up his side's third goal to condemn The Lambs to a fourth consecutive defeat, at Nene Park on Saturday. Nick Wright levelled after Tomlin gave the home side an early lead, but Tamworth didn't find the back of the net again until deep into second half stoppage time, when Richard Tait followed up Wright's shot which bounced back off the bar.
Next game up is a trip to Ilkeston in the FA Cup on Saturday October 24, and we have been advised that the game will be segregated with access through gates A and B only. There are no advance tickets, it is pay on the day, and with segregation in place there will be no access to the clubhouse in the ground for Tamworth fans.
These points will affect the departure time of the supporters coach (£5 a head), so please keep an eye out on this website and in the local press for an update in the next few days.
