Lambs Aim To Return To Winning Ways

Friday Aug 26, 2016

 Bank Holiday double header awaits!

After a couple of disappointing results on the road, we return to the newly named GST Gas Services Stadium at The Lamb Ground tomorrow looking to get back to winning ways.

Bradford Park Avenue are the visitors on Saturday, 3.00pm kick off. We fared well against tomorrows opposition last season, keeping two clean sheets on the way to securing a 2-0 away victory, and a 0-0 draw at home. As always, tickets start from as little as £12 for adults, £7 for concessions, and £2 for U15's, so please come and show your support.

Immediately following this, we make the journey to Derbyshire to face Alfreton Town on Monday, 3.00pm kick off. The Reds proved somewhat of a bogey team for us last season, secure a six point haul over the festive period, as well as knocking us out of the FA Cup. We will be aiming to fare much better against them this season!

The likes of Paul Green and Stephan Morley have been working intensively with Kieran Berry and his medical team all week as they look to return to fitness, while U21 player Jorna Moulton has also re-registered with the club after a short spell with Rugby Town.

Commenting on the Bradford game, Boss Andy Morrell said "It will be a difficult test against a side who will arrive here well organised and prepared to roll their sleeves up and work hard. Hopefully though we can give the fans something to cheer about!"
