Tamworth Ladies beat Pelsall Villa Colts 4 - 0 this afternoon at the Lamb. The scores were all square at half time but 4 goals in the second half sealed the win. The scorers were Hannah Baker (3) and Rebecca Milner. Tamworth remain in top position in the League.

After the game Tamworth Ladies Assistant Manager Danny Brays reflections:

"Really happy with today’s victory against Pelsall Villa Colts Ladies. We knew we were in for a tough game today against a well organised side and it took us fifteen to twenty minutes to get ourselves properly into the game and start to create our attacking moments."

"At half time the message was one of calm, we knew that we were well in the game and that we would create chances in the second half and it was up to us to take them. We took two chances very early on in the second half and this gave ourselves a good platform to build from and I was happy with the way that we built the play from the back and the attacking openings we created."

"It’s another good three points and another step in the right direction towards our targets and goals for this season. It’s also our tenth clean sheet of the season out of fourteen which is something we’re delighted with."

"Thank you once again for your ongoing support, it’s appreciated by all of us players and coaches and we’re all loving it here at this football club."
