 Young Lambs outclassed!

An experimental Lambs side were comfortably second best throughout on Tuesday evening, as they crashed out of the Staffordshire Senior Cup by six goals to nil.

First team players Ryan Beswick, Jordan Clement, and Charlie Shaw got some game time, while Tyrell Waite and Charlie Jemson also completed 90 minutes following their recent suspensions. New signing Claudio Dias played the second half as he looks to gain match sharpness.

Current scholars Aidan Jeynes and Harrison James started the game, and were joined by additional scholarship representation in the shape of Kyle Hayden and Sam Walton in the second half. From the U21's left back Jay Thorne and centre back Pru Anaele also started. Manager Dennis Greene opted to run the rule over two non-contract trialists, Jaanai Gordon and Dilano Reid, both of whom made the starting line up.

Kidsgrove now progress to host Newcastle Town in the Quarter Final, and we wish them the best of luck in the next round.
