THERE’S been a tremendous response from the Tamworth Junior League to our link-up initiative with 26 clubs signed up to be part of it...

This means that a total of approximately 170 teams will be receiving an invitation to attend a game at The Lamb this season.

Dik Boocock from the Junior league is delighted with the response, which shows that the clubs are eager to be linked with us here at Tamworth FC.

Teresa Whitehouse, who has put this plan together, feels that it shows the footballing community of Tamworth are working together and this is beneficial for all concerned.

The final arrangements are being put in place with clubs being matched with TFC players and home games here at The Lamb.

Each club will be allocated a home game when they will provide both a Guard of Honour for the team and be ball boy/girls for the game and their club mates will be invited along to watch the game.

Each club will also be partnered with a TFC player who will join the Junior League club at a training session.
It’s certainly an exciting partnership as we tap into the playing talent and fans of the future.
