This afternoon Alan Devonshire brings his high flying Braintree Town to the Lamb for a Skrill Premier League game which kicks off at 3.00pm. The Iron are currently lying in 5th place and will be a tough fixture for the Lambs but with the camp in good heart after last weeks FA Cup win the Lambs hope to upset the current form table and take three vital points as currently the team are hovering just above the relegation places.
Dale has brought in experienced midfielder Charlie Allen from Gillingham on an emergency loan and he is expected to go straight into the team wearing the number 32 shirt. If he has gotten over the knock he received in last Saturday's game Duane Courtney will make his 100th appearance for the Lambs.
The match is non segregated so only the home and Cross Street turnstiles will be open, its a category B game with prices listed in the Ticket info section of the website. The match programme is again an excellent read and features Captain and hopefully centurion Duane Courtney on the cover. Inside is a full breakdown of our visitors and an article about our Wembley goal scorer Martin Devaney. Get your copy from Julie in the shop, from Richard inside turnstiles 3 and 4 or from Eric on Cross Street, price £2-50.
Gates open at 1.30pm or for the early birds gate 4 is open from 12.30pm
The British Legion will be selling poppies in and around the ground so please do support this very worthy cause. The TeamBuilder collection is held over to the Cheltenham game the following week.
Season Ticket holders are requested to purchase their seats prior to the Cheltenham Town game and with demand already starting to come in for seats we will need to know who will be taking up the option for the seat as it will allow then to go on general sale later next week.
Come and support the team who have knocked in 7 goals in the last two home games, your support does help the lads and will give the shed choir chance to air the songs in readiness for Cheltenham next week.
