Home On New Years Day

Wednesday Dec 27, 2017

 Nuneaton Town next up!

Following the embarrassment of our Boxing Day visit to The Boro' we have an immediate chance to seek revenge as we prepare to welcome them to The Lamb on New Years Day, with kick off being at 3.00pm.

The playing squad and coaching staff will be keen to put things right following a disastrous opening period at The LDJ Solicitors Stadium on Boxing Day, which saw the hosts go in at half time with a 4-0 lead. A marginally improved second half performance saw a consolation gained via an own goal, however the damage had already been done.

January 2nd 2013 was the last home win over Nuneaton Town, with Scott Barrow and Richard Tait doing the damage on the day. Manager Andy Morrell has plenty to consider selection-wise ahead of this encounter. Both Drew Ricketts and Theo Wharton enter the Boxing Day game at half time, and will be hoping to have done enough to start, while the likes of Shaun Rowley and Bradley Reid are also available for selection.

As always, tickets are available from just £12 for adults, £7 for concessions, and £2 for U16's. We need your support to help us start 2018 as we mean to go on!
