Greene On Stourbridge

Friday Nov 23, 2018

 Manager previews weekend!

Lambs boss caught up with Matt Panter of The Tamworth Herald this week, to look ahead to a tough away tie with Stourbridge. Having drawn with leaders Kettering at the start of a five-game unbeaten league run, Greene sees no reason why his side can’t build on their form as they visit the War Memorial Athletic Ground.

“Kettering and Stourbridge are the two stand-out teams at this moment in time,” Greene said. “So yes, of course, it will be a really tough test. But we need to look at us and the fact is, in the last five league games, we haven’t lost. We have won two and drawn three and in that we have played Kettering."

Greene continued “To be five unbeaten is not too bad. I think sometimes people get blinded by the 0-0s and the draws and don’t see us moving up the table. But we have given ourselves something to build on. You look at those three draws and it’s fine margins. They could have been wins and we would be looking at five wins on the trot. It’s certainly not all doom and gloom.”
